Fort Worth TX

The idyllic and fantastic city of Fort Worth, TX, is the county seat of Tarrant County and covers almost 350 square miles into four other counties: Wise, Parker, Denton, and Johnson.

The city was established all the way back in 1849 as an army outpost overlooking the Trinity River, historically always being a center for the Texas Longhorn cattle trade. It has always embraced its Western heritage, traditional architecture and design, and importance in Texas’s industry and economy.

The area is well-known for its cattle drives that have traveled along the Chisholm Trail, with millions of cattle going north to market. Fort Worth became the center of this, and the area shows for it, with ranching and business growing up around it. There are so many major companies headquartered in the area that events are a constant for everyone in the Fort Worth area. A full calendar of festivals coupled with a robust local arts scene round out the pride of the area. The world’s first and largest indoor rodeo is located here, always a great draw for the casual and dedicated fan.
